A north-side trade and a Newstead shopfront are two different profile setups, and the wrong one caps how far you reach.
Spark Radius · Locations
SEO agency for Brisbane businesses: rankings from the Valley to Chermside, Google Business Profile, reviews and AI search. From A$990 a month.
Local SEO in Brisbane means working a set of separate hubs spread along the river and the ridges, with the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast an hour either side. Google's map results reach further here than they do in Sydney, which is an opening if your profile is in better shape than the next one.
Clusters we work in
Brisbane CBD and Spring Hill
Professional services and the weekday trade, with the tightest radius in the city.
Fortitude Valley, Newstead and Teneriffe
Hospitality, studios and clinics packed into a few blocks.
West End, South Brisbane and Woolloongabba
South Bank spillover and the precinct rebuilding around the Gabba.
Paddington, Milton and Toowong
Inner west strips where the search names the suburb every single time.
Chermside, Carindale and Indooroopilly
Centre-anchored suburbs where the map results draw from a wide area.
Logan, Ipswich and Springfield
Growth corridors with a lot of new customers and very few maintained profiles.
Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast
Separate markets an hour away, often the same owner and the same brand.

The system behind the Australian practice has run since 2024. Australian case studies are published as the first clients reach their thirty-day numbers.
Greater Brisbane spreads across the river bends and the hills, and the suburb hubs sit far enough apart that Google casts a wider net to fill three results. In Fortitude Valley the radius is tight. Around Chermside, Carindale or Springfield it can pull in a business several kilometres away, so a well-run profile reaches further than the same profile would in Melbourne.
The city has absorbed years of interstate arrivals who have no established plumber, dentist or gym, which means the search is doing the choosing rather than a neighbour. Storm season does the same on a much shorter clock. One January hail line puts thousands of roofing and electrical searches into a single afternoon, and the businesses taking those calls are the ones already in the top three when it starts.
The three map results here change more slowly than in Sydney and cover more ground. That cuts both ways. A neglected listing can sit in the top three for months on the strength of an old address and an old review count, and a corrected one can take the place and hold it through the next season.
Checking your rank from a grid of points matters more in Brisbane, precisely because the hubs are far apart. A single rank number for Brisbane tells you nothing about whether you appear in Chermside and Carindale, which is where a large share of the customers are. We grid the suburbs you actually serve and report the map rather than the number.
A north-side trade and a Newstead shopfront are two different profile setups, and the wrong one caps how far you reach.
QBCC and AHPRA numbers on the site and the profile, matching what the register says.
A review mentioning Wynnum or Ashgrove reads as local proof to a customer and gives Google something to associate.
Google first, then the platforms a south east Queensland customer checks on the way to a decision.
Delivery discovery for every venue from the Valley to Burleigh, at a cost per order you do not control.
Where the storm-season searches end up when the map results do not answer them.
Clinic bookings, with real availability rather than a phone number and a promise.
Local editorial that AI assistants quote back when somebody asks what is good in Brisbane.
Suburb and neighbourhood groups online carry real referral weight here, and they ask the same questions your profile should answer.
They rank on brand searches and get read before anyone calls.
Three of the four we work with most in Australia. Each industry page covers the platforms, the regulators and the searches that apply here.
A Brisbane trade covering the north side and Redlands is one business with two very different sets of results, and the service area is what decides which calls arrive. QBCC licence numbers belong on the site and the profile. Emergency work needs hours, a category and a phone that actually answers at 6am after a storm, because that is when the demand lands.
The Valley, Newstead and West End compete for the same night out, and the Gold Coast venues an hour south compete for the same weekend. A group running venues in both is running two local businesses, each with its own photos, hours and review flow. Events and functions are searched separately from dining, and most venues never build a page for them.
Chermside, Carindale and Indooroopilly each hold clinics competing across a wide catchment, which makes reviews and booking availability count for more than the extra kilometre. AHPRA prohibits testimonials about clinical care in advertising, so the review programme asks about the experience, replies to everything, and never filters who is asked.
Spark Radius opened in October 2026, so there is no Brisbane result to show you yet and we will not dress one up. These are June 2026 monthly reports from clients outside Australia, run on the system and by the team you would get.
A restaurant and bar · June 2026
First on Google Maps for all 15 searches we track for it, with 996 calls and 2,749 direction requests from its Google profile in the month.
A café group with five branches · June 2026
Five Google profiles 97% complete, 186 menu items edited in one place, and 2,490 direction requests across the branches in the month.
A fitness studio · June 2026
Sixty-five Google reviews, all five stars, first on Maps for its main search, and named in 8 of the 20 AI searches we ran for it.
Each figure is what the account measured in that month, not a before and after. Australian case studies go up as the first clients here reach their own numbers.
A page each for the four the Australian practice sells, written for Brisbane rather than for Australia: the local competitive set, the searches that convert, the review platforms and what the Command Centre does for that vertical.
Venues split between the inner city and the coasts, each needing its own local presence.
Wide-catchment clinics around the major centres, under AHPRA advertising rules.
Suburban gyms with a wide radius, where the timetable and the trial offer decide the enquiry.
Storm-driven emergency demand and QBCC licensing across a spread-out metro.

How the map results work, what a top place is worth, and how reviews feed into both.
Book a call and we will look at your profile, your suburb and your competitors before we speak.
The map is most of it: your Google Business Profile, your reviews and a grid of rankings from the Valley to Chermside. The rest is the website, because the ordinary results under the map are ranked on it. We fix the technical side (speed, indexing and schema), write pages for the services and suburbs you actually sell, and check whether ChatGPT and Google's AI answers name you. Google Ads can run alongside while the organic rankings build.
Yes, and we treat them as their own markets rather than an extension of Brisbane. The searches, the seasonality and the competitive set are all different. Pricing is per location per month, so a Brisbane venue and a Broadbeach venue are two locations with one team and one report across both.
Proximity is one signal, not the only one. In Brisbane, where the radius is wide, a business three kilometres away with the right primary category, current hours, active posting and a steady review flow will regularly beat a closer one that has not been touched since setup. The good news is that most of that gap is work, not luck.
Hours, emergency service listed as a category or service, a phone that is answered out of hours, and a page for the specific work people search for at 6am. Demand arrives in a single afternoon and goes to whoever is already visible. Setting it up in January is too late.
Three plans, per location per month, in Australian dollars: Foundation at A$990, Growth at A$1,990 and Authority at A$2,990. Six-month minimum, the website stays yours, and additional locations are quoted per site. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST; 10% GST is added on the invoice.
