Spark Radius · Locations
SEO agency for Gold Coast businesses: rankings from Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta, Google Business Profile, reviews and AI search. From A$990 a month.
Local SEO on the Gold Coast is a long thin city with a tourist strip down the middle and residential hubs behind it. A visitor in Surfers Paradise and a family in Robina search the same words and need different businesses, and the busy weeks do not match Brisbane, an hour north.
Clusters we work in
Surfers Paradise and Main Beach
The densest visitor market on the coast, where hospitality and tours compete block by block and the busy weeks are school holidays and Schoolies.
Broadbeach and Mermaid Beach
Restaurants, clinics and professional services around the light rail line and the Pacific Fair end of the strip.
Southport and the Gold Coast health precinct
Courts, the university and the hospital draw clinics, allied health and professional services into one corridor.
Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and Currumbin
Independent cafes, studios and clinics with a strong local following and loyal repeat customers.
Robina, Varsity Lakes and Mudgeeraba
Centre-anchored suburbs with families and commuters, where the map results reach a long way.
Coomera, Helensvale and Hope Island
Northern growth suburbs with new households and few profiles that have been kept up.
Coolangatta and Tweed Heads
One town split by a state border, with customers and competitors on both sides of it.

The system behind the Australian practice has run since 2024. Australian case studies are published as the first clients reach their thirty-day numbers.
The city runs along the coast and the motorway, so its hubs sit in a line: Southport and Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Mermaid Beach, Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach, then Coolangatta at the Queensland and New South Wales border. Inland, Robina, Varsity Lakes and Nerang pull in their own residents. People rarely type Gold Coast. They type Burleigh, Broadbeach or Robina, or they type near me and let the phone decide.
Two audiences search at once, and they look similar on a results page. Visitors want a table, a treatment, a hire or a tradie for a few days, and they decide on photos, hours and the most recent reviews. Residents want the dentist, the gym or the electrician they will use for years. A profile built for one and ignored by the other loses half the searches in the same suburb.
Because the hubs sit in a line, the three map results change as you move along the coast, and a venue in Broadbeach can hold first place at its own door and drop out by Mermaid Beach. A single rank number for the Gold Coast hides that completely. We check from a grid of points along the strip and back into the inland suburbs, so the report shows where the visibility stops.
Recent reviews matter more here than the total count. A profile that collected two hundred reviews three years ago and little since looks quiet next to a competitor with a steady run in the last month, and the visitor deciding on a Saturday afternoon is reading the recent ones. Hours deserve the same care, because a holiday week with the wrong opening times produces the sort of review that stays on the profile for years.
Visitor and resident searches both start from it, and a wrong choice keeps a good business out of the top three for either.
The most recent month of reviews matters to a visitor, and a steady flow carries a profile through the quiet season.
School holiday and public holiday hours set in advance, so the profile and the door agree when the strip is busiest.
Google first, then the platforms a visitor or a local checks on the way to a decision.
Delivery discovery for residential hubs from Burleigh to Robina, at a cost per order you do not control.
Where visitors read about venues and experiences before they arrive, and where ratings can differ from Google.
Where storm-season searches end up when the map results do not answer them.
Clinic bookings, with real availability rather than a phone number and a promise.
Neighbourhood groups online carry referral weight in the residential hubs, and they ask what your profile should already answer.
They rank on brand searches and get read before anyone calls.
Three of the four we work with most in Australia. Each industry page covers the platforms, the regulators and the searches that apply here.
A Gold Coast trade covering Burleigh to Coolangatta is also close to the Tweed, where the state rules change. QBCC licence numbers belong on the site and the profile for Queensland work, and a business that crosses into New South Wales needs the licensing for that side stated as well. Storm season sends demand in one afternoon, so emergency categories and hours need to be set before it starts.
A venue in Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach lives on a visitor calendar: school holidays, long weekends, Schoolies in November and event weekends. Burleigh and Palm Beach run more on locals. A group with both is running two local businesses, each needing its own photos, hours and review flow. Functions and weddings are searched separately from dining, and most venues have no page for them.
The Southport precinct, Robina and the strip from Broadbeach to Burleigh each hold clinics competing for residents and, in some specialties, visitors needing a same-day appointment. AHPRA prohibits testimonials about clinical care in advertising, so the review programme asks about the visit, replies to everything and never filters who is asked.
Spark Radius opened in October 2026, so there is no Gold Coast result to show you yet and we will not dress one up. These are June 2026 monthly reports from clients outside Australia, run on the system and by the team you would get.
A restaurant and bar · June 2026
First on Google Maps for all 15 searches we track for it, with 996 calls and 2,749 direction requests from its Google profile in the month.
A café group with five branches · June 2026
Five Google profiles 97% complete, 186 menu items edited in one place, and 2,490 direction requests across the branches in the month.
A fitness studio · June 2026
Sixty-five Google reviews, all five stars, first on Maps for its main search, and named in 8 of the 20 AI searches we ran for it.
Each figure is what the account measured in that month, not a before and after. Australian case studies go up as the first clients here reach their own numbers.
A page each for the four the Australian practice sells, written for Gold Coast rather than for Australia: the local competitive set, the searches that convert, the review platforms and what the Command Centre does for that vertical.
Venues split between the visitor strip and the local hubs, each with its own season and review flow.
Clinics around the Southport precinct, Robina and the coastal strip, under AHPRA advertising rules.
Studios serving locals and a changing visitor crowd, where the timetable and the trial offer decide the enquiry.
Storm-driven emergency demand along a long coastal strip, with QBCC licensing and a state border at the southern end.

How the map results work, what a top place is worth, and how reviews feed into both.
Book a call and we will look at your profile, your suburb and your competitors before we speak.
The map is most of it: your Google Business Profile, your reviews and a grid of rankings from Southport to Coolangatta. The rest is the website, because the ordinary results under the map are ranked on it. We fix the technical side (speed, indexing and schema), write pages for the services and suburbs you actually sell, and check whether ChatGPT and Google's AI answers name you. Google Ads can run alongside while the organic rankings build.
No. It is about an hour south on the M1, and the searches, the visitor seasons and the competitors are different. A business with a site in each city has two locations, one team and one report.
Plan the profile around the calendar. School holidays, Easter, the summer weeks and event weekends bring visitors, and the quiet months bring residents. We set holiday hours ahead of time, schedule posts around the busy weeks and keep the review flow steady so the recent reviews a visitor reads are recent.
Yes. The grid runs on both sides of the border, since customers and competitors do not stop at it. The listing has one address, so the work is in the service area, the pages for the suburbs on the other side and, for trades, licence details that are correct in each state.
Three plans, per location per month, in Australian dollars: Foundation at A$990, Growth at A$1,990 and Authority at A$2,990. Six-month minimum, the website stays yours, and additional locations are quoted per site. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST; 10% GST is added on the invoice.
